Blazing Angels Wii looking better than expected

First Wii screenshots of WWII flight blaster
Everyone's favourite French publisher, Ubisoft, has released the first Wii screenshots of WWII flight action game Blazing Angels - and it's looking better than we expected.

There's not much info around on the Wii version at the moment, though we're expecting some remote flight aiming mischief much in the style of fellow Wii fligh-sim Heatseeker.

Blazing Angels is expected on Wii sometime next month. We'll let you know how it turns out.

compare this to the apparent graphical disgrace that is Godfather on the wii. The difference is staggering.

Shame that this is a game I have absolutely no interest in whatsoever, really.

i agree I think the wii might have a bit more power to it than expected I just wish developers treated it as a next gen console instead of a current gen console with a new type of controller.

These pics are in a current Nintendo mag, and they state that they're not Wii screens

Hey ,this looks better than I thought !Almost on par with the X360 and PS3 versions !

That being said ,the Xbox version already looked nearly on par (bar the HD ) with the X360 version ....

Hear hear! Too many lazy developers just add Wii controls to last gen games and think it's acceptable!

Remember the Resi games for the Gamecube well the Wii is capable of that and they are saying the Wii is twice as powerful. So the Dev's need to stop being lazy and get their fingers out!

It looks crap compared to GOD OF WAR II.

lol... Is that a flight sim?
BlindFish on 16 Mar '07
Yeah, they need to start sh*ttin better lookin stuff for the Wii soon. Notice how each new Wii game thats comming out, everyone's first concern is how the graphics will turn out lol...

well its kinda true, my wii games dont look any better than my ps2 or gamecube.

Was a bit of a dissapointment when i fired it up because the wii is next generation and you do expect a graphical jump either big or small. After playing red steel i put it in fzero (gamecube) and i thought that honestly it looked alot better..

Put it this way, I was more impressed my xbox360 when i first started that up and played gears.

yeh i know its all about controlls but we still want to see the wii being pushed and as the rumours stating that the original xbox was never really pushed, how on earth should the graphics be on par with the gamecube or even worse the ps2?????????
