Quake Wars screens: 7, hot and new

Latest unmissable screens from the Quake-powered multiplayer shooter blast in
Ah, Quake Wars you gorgeous little devil you. We want to set you on our mantelpiece and gaze longingly into your thousand-yard stare. But seeing as we can't do that just yet as the developers are still feverishly sticking polygons together with bits of code, for now we'll settle for new screenshots.

And that's seven new screenshots, which we've uploaded here so you can join us in our adoration. Don't be afraid to express your love in the comments field below.

The new Quake Wars screenshots follow earlier news from id Software that the multiplayer shooter, which is in development for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, won't support cross-platform play. Which is probably just as well 'cos the console jockeys would get seriously pwned.

i would probably say that the screenshots were great but they were ruined by tiberium (green crystals for those who don't know) crawling across my screen every time i open a new page. aaarrgggghhhhh!!! i am boycotting command and conquer 3 because of this horrible nasty advertisment that does nothing but wind me up. anyway, back to topic, once i got rid of the horrible green crystals i thought the screenshots looked very good if a little reminiscent of BF2142, but that's not really a bad thing... is it?

Argh tell me about it.
God damn tiberium everywhere !

tiberium aside (i swear its trying to shoot lasers at me...)

i need a mop, ive drueled all over the floor...someone could slip and die.

SLIP AND DIE! (this last is directed at the tiberium crystals, which i believe to be some organic macro virus....ive never played c&c Razz)
