Sony, those sly devils, have sneaked out latest PlayStation firmware update which changes... erm, we don't quite know.
The chaps at NeoGAF however point out an improved internet browser, mini-clips in the video section, auto-power-off for controllers, improved PS1 and PS2 support and the abilitiy to use Flash wallpapers on the XMB - so finally someone might be able to come up with something pretty enough to consider replacing the default background.
Sony's yet to offer an official change log for the firmware but rest assured - we're on the case.
Well its good that it'll automatically shutdown the controllers. Now maybe I don't to plug them in as often everything my flatmate forgets to turn it off.
Hold it shouldn't there be some t**tty 360 fanboys slagging this off by now, where are they?
No Problem someone said thats good that it'll automatically shutdown the controllers. Now maybe I don't to plug them in as often everything my flatmate forgets to turn it off.

Just because someone slags something off, doesn't mean they are a fanboy. They might just not agree with it.
CVG is populated by the same fanboy's that always post negative comments about their rival consoles. Xbox 360 news is usually populated with negative comments from the same Sony fanboys.
No major changes with this one that I can notice. But then again maybe some of the changes are underlying fixes. I'm crying out for better bluetooth headset support for example, maybe they put that in.
Does anyone else think that the 2.0 firmware might well include Playstation Home?
Now all they need to do is update the bloody BC site. http://faq.eu.playstation.com/bc/bcGames.htm;ZSESSIONID=Gd7JzhhPX6JWtC7L4JQdzzhB9yp5n27CpcJGTkDZgQVskZsGV5nh!294199817?locale=en_GB
