Will the trade shows please end?! Tokyo Game Show picks up where Games Convention left off (which picked up where E3 left off etc) next week, with Japanese publishers said to be unleashing their big guns on the Makuhari Messe crowd.
Capcom in particular has been tipped for deployment of "three huge announcements," according to Australian site Game Player, which says it became savvy to the info at the recent Activate Asia 2007 conference in Cairns.
The site is apparently sworn to secrecy, but says the info has it "busting at the seams with excitement." Could this finally be the Dead Rising 2 news we've been waiting on, seemingly forever?
We've fired off a phone call to Capcom's UK op and unfortunately, it looks like they're all on holiday. We've left a message with their PR overlord and hopefully they'll get back to us before Wednesday.
What will prob happen Some mini game crap for wii resident evil on live and psn and no street fighter 4
You never know... next year is the 20th anniversary of Street Fighter so it'd be the obvious excuse to do another one.
"Dame 20 years" I have been playing this game for almost 20 years. Know wonder I crushed that kid who said he was the best on street fighter in swindon.
Capcom gives us STREET FIGHTER IV that is all I want Xmas
I thought that the HD remix of sf2 was for the 20th anniversary. I doubt we will ever get street fighter 4.
What would be cool, is if they did a proper resident evil game for the wii. Not a wii-make like 4 and not a light gun game, but a proper one. Wouldnt have to be a port of 5, i have my 360 for that, but maybe another off-shot one in the vain of code veronica but with 4's engine. Featuring Rebecca or say Barry as the playable character.

That's one of the things for the 20th but they said they would have a whole load of promotions and 'surprises' through the end of this year into next year.
It just has to be a new Street Fighter game for one of the big three. Sticking in 2D would probably be fine due to the rise of retro games and downloadable Live and PSN titles.
And it would be the first fighting game in years to interest me if it is true.
Yeah, bring us Street Fighter IV...in glorious 2D with Disney-quality animations!
I really don't understand what's taking them so long. They've been milking the series from the very beginning, so why the heck did they stop after number 3? Why?!
Given the success of Resident Evil 4 for the Wii and the Wii's (surprising!) superior marketshare at least one of these announcements will be Wii-related imo.
Resident Evil Wii-make of 2 and 3..? Resident Evil 5 for the Wii..? Or maybe a new exclusive Resident Evil for the Wii..? Am hoping for all 3 but can't see it myself lololol
