Oblivion: Shivering Isles comes to PS3

GOTY edition to feature the expansion pack - but new DLC Fighter's Stronghold is missing
A Game of the Year Edition of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for PS3 finally allows owners of Sony's console to romp around in expansion pack Shivering Isles.

The GOTY version additionally features previously released download content Knights of the Nine.

However, for some reason the recently released content Fighter's Stronghold - available now for PC and Xbox 360 Oblivion, and a 10.3MB file - has not been included.

Maybe it'll appear in the Game of Next Year Edition. Badumtish.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition is out for PS3 in December.

That's all well and good, but what about us who've already bought the game? If I don't see a download I'm not gonna be happy....

yeah Im the same whats going to happen to the rest of us. I spent ages waiting for that game to come out cos it was delayed, surprise surprise, and now they d this. I cant afford to buy entire games again Assasins Creed is out soon (hopefully) and after christmas MGS 4 so theres absolutly no way I can pay for it even if I wnated to. Sony had better sort this out and at the very least put something up on the PSN for download like a patch. GODDAMN you sony you keep screwing us out and we only want you to do well Mad

Is the issue here with Sony or Bethesda (it is Bethesda that released Oblivion isn't it?)? Why haven't CVG asked the question? Shocked

I knew this was going to happen so I decided not to get the game yet. And I have been soooooo looking forward to playing this. But soon I will (even though two months isn't soon, but whatever) and I'll have the expansion and all.Very Happy

Its about time Ps3 owners got the new content for Oblivion. It seems strange its taken them so long to release it when the P.C and 360 GOTY versions have been out a few weeks now. It also seems a shame the newest DLC is not included, although it is quite a small quest and shouldn't take more than an hour or two to complete so it isn't really a big loss.

The rest of the package is good enougth to last years though, and I'm glad the Ps3 finally gets a slice of the DLC pie.
