COD4 supported "for a very long time"

Community manager doesn't really talk about the upcoming COD4 map pack inside
Infinity community manager, Robert Bowling, has been caught red-handed talking about the highly anticipated Call of Duty 4 map pack. Unfortunately he didn't really reveal much. We're guessing Activision is saving all that up to make some big announcement soon.

Speaking to Destructoid, Bowling said, "People who want open maps are going to be happy with this map pack. People who want more indoor locales are going to be happy with this map pack. People who want something completely different from what they're currently playing are going to be happy with this map pack."

People who actually want some official, confirmed details to chew on aren't going to be very happy, we say.

But it looks like Infinity will be supporting the game for a while yet, or at least until the next one comes out.

"We plan on supporting our game for a very long time. We're currently number one on Xbox Live, so we have a lot of people playing. So we're going to continue to support the community that keeps supporting us. We have a lot of cool ideas that we're working on, and we're going to keep making maps until we're done."

They got that out pretty quickly compared with some DLC.

But if they're planning on making CoD5 back in WW2 then they'd better expect to continue supporting CoD4 until at least CoD6 Smile

A 1960's/70's alternate history Vietnam-style conflict scenario please, for the next Call of Duty. Maybe taking some inspiration from the Rambo films.

With period music as well please.

It's a different development company making it.

ALso i don't want 30 new maps that are going to cost me 10 quid, i just want 3 or 4 for a low price or free.

honestly, i'd pay 20 quid for 15 - 20 new maps just as long as they were an inovation and worthwhile.

Well said. When will people understand that.

New mpas will be welcome. Lets hope the multiplayer selector gets an upgrade.

Most of the maps are great but having the option to play the map of choice would be a useful addition.
tungst3n on 23 Feb '08
I'd pay for some more perks, weapons and camouflage options as well.
