Fatal Inertia Ex on PSN next week

With new features and tweaks - it's much better than the original, promises Koei
The PS3's downloadable version of badmouthed 360 racer Fatal Inertia will be out on PSN next week, June 19, developer Koei has confirmed.

The futuristic racer is a bit like Star Wars pod racing through rocky canyons, only with magnet guns and lots of framerate issues. It didn't exactly set the world on fire on Xbox 360.

The 15 quid 'Ex' version sports "new features and gameplay tweaks," says Koei, including changes to the game's difficulty which was said to be too high in the 360 version.

To help solve this Fatal Inertia Ex includes a training venue with eight new tracks that should help train up rookie racers, and on the other end there's a Master difficulty level for those who like to punch a hole in the side of the couch.

We'll let you know if they make a difference.
