Wii Music dated in Japan?

Word sneaks out from a Japanese Nintendo event
Nintendo has allegedly held an event in Japan today where the company revealed the price and date for the Japanese version of Wii Music.

The information, posted on Rambling Man's blog and translated by NeoGaf posters, points to it being released on October 16 for 5800 yen. That works out at about £27.

The blogger also confirmed that Wii Music will be Wi-Fi connection compatible, no doubt so you can form a band over the internet.

Other information included the release date for Captain Rainbow (August 28) and four new Wii straps coming in September. If you haven't seen the trailer for Captain Rainbow yet, we suggest you click here.

Wii Music "sounds" terrible no pun intended!!

How long will that novelty last? Longer than Wii Fit....??

Yes I do have a Wii and Wii Fit so I have the experience and not just Wii bashing.

Mario Kart is the best thing on the Wii

It will be interesting to see just how well it does when it's finally released over here. It'll probably go straight to number one unfortunately, at which point I'm going to go out hunting for a new hobby.
