Penguin Books is set to publish the novelisation of Assassin's Creed II, called 'Assassin's Creed Renaissance'.
The book is Ubisoft's latest non-game venture for the sequel, following the release of the first Assassin's Creed Lineage live-action short.
"Assassin's Creed Renaissance will offer the public a new and exciting way to experience the narrative world of Assassin's Creed II," says Ubisoft MD, Rob Cooper.
"The book deal with Penguin, along with the Assassin's Creed Lineage film series, is part of an ambition to bring the Assassin's Creed franchise to multiple entertainment media. These projects along with the game itself will provide a truly immersive experience."
The game will be released on November 20 in UK with the book following closely behind on November 26.

Perhaps I am alone, but I don't find the Assassin's Creed characters interesting enough to want to pursue external media related to them. I find the Desmond storyline the most interesting but that's not saying much. Maybe that will change with AC2 but I doubt it.
I WANT IT NOW- looks good, is gunna be good, but its a breakfast cereal No, no... jokes aside, assassins creed II looks so much more impressive than the first, so much more developed and it really is gunna be worth every penny.
as for the book...meh i hate reading! but then again its about a game...what more would you want in a book
